about

The title “Gecko in the Pandrols” was inspired by a few B-roll frames I saw on a TV show where a lizard (not a gecko sadly) was shown winding itself around the clips (known as Pandrol clips) holding the railway tracks to the sleepers. It was a lovely shot that I cannot reproduce here for copyright reasons – the brightly coloured lizard weaving its way around rusted but also curvaceous rail clips, a metaphor for nature trying to navigate its way around a complex modern word in the best way it can, maybe. Sorry, I’m not good at this arty bollocks stuff. Anyway I liked the sound of the name.

Downloaders get a small PDF with a bit more writing in it, a list of instruments used, and some more gecko photos.
