Park Street

from Backstory by Chrissie

about

Actually a place in Hull. Though the depictions of events are not actually much based around what happened in Park Street itself (which consist mainly of taking my driving test, and watching the resignalling of Hull Paragon station), but a recent visit, noticing how much it had changed, was where I got the inspiration to start this piece. It actually opens with a ‘version’ of Steve Hackett's The Steppes which was played at one if the first gigs I ever went to at Hull City Hall. There’s a feeble attempt at some Rick Wakeman in there too. Sorry.

My main observation on revisiting Park Street is that you can now park there. When I lived in Hull it was famous for being difficult to park on :D
